Cling Peel Test Fixture meets requirements of ASTM D-5458, Standard Test Method for Peel Cling of Stretch Wrap Films.

Can be used with Oakland’s MT-1500 Series Universal Testers and MT-2500 Series Tensile Testers.

For determining property of cling, the ability of a material to adhere to itself. Designed for stretch wrap materials, used for over-wrapping which, when applied under tension, elongates and conforms to the packaged items, through elastic recovery.

Fixture comes complete with all items shown. Recommend using low-force load cell for best results.

Optional accessories include Horsehair Brush and Hand-pull Rollers for applying 1 inch film samples to inclined plane of test fixture. Medium-firm Hand-pull Rubber Roller, 2 inch Width, shown in photo at right.
