Economical, Accurate, Easy-to-Use. The MX-1100e utilizes a precision LVDT contact
sensor, proven Isolated C Frame design plus a large 7 inch Touch Panel display. Add
our MX Series microDrive Sample Advance Drive Unit to turn your MX-1100e into a full-featured
Profiler, which integrates automatic sample advance for accurate profiling of paper,
film & sheet samples.
The MX-1100e utilizes a precision LVDT contact sensor, an isolated “C” frame assembly,
and a large 7 inch touch panel display, which resolves to ten millionths of an inch
(0.01 mil) with accuracy to 20 microinches. “True Cam” for accurate descent rates,
and one-button digital “zeroing” are standard. The measurement head automatically
cycles up/down, with the operator pulling samples underneath. On-board statistics
including High, Low, Average, Std. Deviation and Count. Plus touch panel graphical
display of Linear Profiles and Polar Profiles.
Equipped with an RS-232 Drive Communications port and RS-232 Cable, you can transmit
sample spacing presets to Oakland’s MX Series microDrive for integrated thickness
profiling of strip or tube (blown film) samples. Manufactured to meet TAPPI specifications
for paper, linerboard, or non-wovens or ASTM specifications for film, foil, or sheet
materials. Integral Sample Advance push-button for starting samples, or for ejecting
them at the end of a sample run, is standard.
