Oakland’s Model FX-7100-VS is a digital COF Tester for determining static friction
and kinetic friction of all substrates including cartons, plastic film, coatings,
textiles and paper.
Oakland’s popular model in its range of COF, Peel & Seal Test Instruments, the Model
FX-7100-VS COF Tester is designed for ease-of-use in determining Static COF and Kinetic
COF of your film and sheet materials, plus variable-speed drive allows other test
modes. Based on force gauge or software determination of static and kinetic COF
values, our FX-7200 Software provides graphics, statistics, and reporting of friction
information.
Slide Angle testers are designed for measurement of Static COF Values,
while horizontal bed versions are capable of determining both Static COF and Kinetic
COF Values. Optional Sliding Blocks are available for the FX-7100 horizontal bed
system for testing several materials including shipping sacks, fiberboard, electrical
insulation paper, printed paper, and corrugated. Peel / Seal fixtures are also available,
as well as tensile grips and other accessories to enhance the range of use of your
tester.
