contact sensor, proven “Isolated C Frame” technology plus one-button zeroing. Resolution
to 20 microinch. Measure paper, sheet, and board with accuracy and ease.
The GP-175 utilizes a precision machined & ground contact sensor, and an isolated
“C” frame assembly which resolves to twenty millionths of an inch (0.02 mil) with
accuracy to 20 micro inches. Rugged hand-lift lever, and one-button “zeroing” are
standard.
Equipped with an RS-232 port, you can transmit data to a serial or ticket printer,
or to a computer to allow operation with 3rd-party statistics and quality control
software packages. Manufactured to meet TAPPI specifications for paperboard or ASTM
specifications for film.
Range: 40 mils (0.04 inch), available to 0.50 inch. Meets TAPPI test method T 411
“Thickness (caliper) of Paper, Paperboard, and Combined Board”. Available in a range
of foot diameters, pressures; includes built-in parallelism-adjustable anvil for
the precision you need.
