Oakland’s most popular model in its range of COF, Peel & Seal Test Instruments, the
Model FX-7300 COF Tester is designed for ease-of-use in determining Static COF and
Kinetic COF of your film and sheet materials. Based on precision load cell determination
of static and kinetic COF values; add our FX-7300 Software for computerized operation
and also provide graphics, statistics, and reporting of friction information. The
FX-7300 COF Tester console digital display simultaneously displays real-time static
COF and kinetic COF values.
Optional Sliding Blocks are available for the FX-7300
horizontal bed system for testing several materials including shipping sacks, fiberboard,
electrical insulation paper, printed paper, and corrugated. A heated platen retrofit
option will be available, January 2021, for elevated temperature testing.
A sample console overlay (shown at right) allows full stand-alone instrument operation
and data display including end-of-sample statistics. A sample FX-7300 COF Software
end-of-test screen with graphic and COF statistics is also shown at right; tester
can be operated with full-software-driven control with the addition of our FX-7300
Software.
