The Model T5 Densitometer, an easy-to-operate opacity meter for single-pass light
transmission opacity testing of packaging films, photography films, printed packaging,
and other materials.
Ideal for the laboratory or plant floor, the model T5 is a simple-to-use, off-line
instrument that indicates relative opacity (density) of plastic film, paper, laminates,
printed packaging and other materials. With a single pass of the light source through
your material, the system measures relative light transmission on a scale of 0.00
to 6.00 Density units, representing perfectly transparent to purely opaque materials,
respectively.
As it helps you control opacity quality and uniformity, the model T5 also saves you
money on colorants, inks and other additives - among the most expensive components
in the production of plastic film and other packaging materials. The T5 will allow
you to more cost-effectively evaluate, select and adjust your use of colorants. You
can be sure you’re using just the right amount to meet your customers’ standards.
