Oakland’s popular model in its range of COF, Peel & Seal test instruments, the Model
FX-7100-VSC COF, Peel & Seal Tester is designed for ease-of-use in determining Static
COF and Kinetic COF of your film and sheet materials, plus variable-speed drive allows
other test modes. Based on software determination of static and kinetic COF values,
our FX-7200 Software provides graphics, statistics, and reporting of friction information;
plus information capture from the force transducer digital display offers additional
testing modes.
System includes two force transducers: one 0 - 500 gram digital force gauge and one
0 - 11 lb (0 - 5 kg) digital force gauge are standard, with RS-232 Output to Oakland’s
Model FX-7200 Software. Plus two Moving Table / Block sets: one set without sample
clamps for standard COF Testing, one set with Weighted Table and mechanical sample
clamps for Peel, Seal, and low-force Tensile Testing. Console force capacity to
22 lb (10 kg) with Weighted Moving Table installed.
Slide Angle testers are designed for measurement of Static COF Values, while horizontal
bed versions are capable of determining both Static COF and Kinetic COF Values.
